And the quest continues!

I've been admiring this:

in Hot Topic for a few months now. It's infinitely stupid, and I'm completely amused by it. Today, we wandered in there and it was on clearance. Well, I couldn't let it get away from me, so I decided it was unisex enough and took it to the counter. After sales tax, this bad boy came to a whopping $2.63. Money well spent!

I also bought a cute short sleeved maternity cardigan and the cutest pink shoes at Ann Taylor Loft, some hair clips for Miss Gidget who got a MUCH needed haircut last night, a sewing pattern for aprons, and a pink and green Hello Kitty pillowcase for myself, cuz I'm a nerd. The shoes are awesome because not only were they inexpensive, they have rubber soles so I won't have to worry about slipping in the kitchen at work! Oh, and I got a new tube of mascara. Good stuff.

I also made myself a new banner. Actually, I made two, but my husband said the first one looked too "halloween-y" so I guess I'll save that for another time. I don't know how long the old one was up, but I'm thinking it's been a while. Still cupcakes though. We'll see how long it takes me to move on to the next thing.
