Low self esteem day
At the reception there was sushi, asian chicken on mini rice cakes (not like crisy health food kind though), fried shrimp and lobster on skewers, mini beef wellingtons (my favorite!) and coconut shrimp skewers. Appetizer was a mini crab cake with garlic aioli and micro greens. The salad was mixed baby greens with shaved fennel and edible marigolds. The main course was your choice of a huge ribe eye steak or chilean sea bass (which I had) with citrus beurre blanc, accompanied by a lobster potato cake, haricots verts (why can't we call them green beans?) and a lobster claw. Dessert was individual warm chocolate cake with berries and caramel or chocolate sauces for drizzling.
YUM. I went home EXTREMELY full.
One of my coworkers emailed me this photo of my husband and I as we walked into the reception. Sometimes, when I see pictures like this, I can't help but think to myself that my husband deserves someone prettier than me.
Say hello to my chins. All of them.

Okay Sara...I am only a once-in-a-while commenter, so I'll go easy on you just this once...
You are a hot mama! The few pictures of you that I have seen on the blog, I always thought you were quite pretty. So don't be so hard on yourself! Bubba needs you to be at least a little soft so that you're better to snuggle with!
*consider yourself slapped on the back of the head*
Take care of yourself!
Michelle
