Picture post!

I just realized that I didn't post a pic of my Valentine's flowers!

They're Stargazer Lillies... aren't they GORGEOUS? They were on my desk Thursday morning when I got to work, along with a cute card from my sweet husband. I had several people tell me that they were the best flowers seen in the hotel that day! They're still blooming and scenting up the place here at home now.
I haven't posted bento in a while. I got up this morning, spent the first ten minutes I was awake eating saltines, and therefore was late to work this morning. I need to adjust for that! I made this lunch, got to work, and realized that today was the all employee luncheon! I could have been on time!
I ate the veggies, as the ones there were super greasy (butter and olive oil, I'm sure) but skipped the turkey burger in favor of shrimp and chilean sea bass. Wouldn't you?
The animal cookies under the lid I fed to a hungry co worker earlier in the morning.
Last night, we went to Whole Foods. Neither one of us felt like cooking so we opted to get something from their hot food bar. I made myself a little sorta bento there. It amused me.

Roasted chicken leg, herb roasted potatoes, and veggies. Yum!

This one was from last week. Apple slices for a morning snack, edamame and brown rice topped with furikake, turkey burget and a hard boiled egg, some blueberries, and trail mix for a pm snack. Plain but yummy and healthy.

And finally, because it was too funny NOT to take a picture and post, the license plate of some idiot in the parking lot while I waited for my husband.
