Sleepers

My husband and I are sleepers. I think we are really lucky to have found each other, I think. It occured to me this morning, when my father in law rolled out of bed at seven a.m. that neither of us are morning people. We can both easily stay up all night, and then sleep in until two in the afternoon if allowed. Even our dogs are sleepers. Leila especially, she snuggles like a champ! How hellish would it be if one of us was one of those bright and cheery, get up at 5a.m. everyday people? ICK!!!

They've both been out all day watching the qualifying for the NASCAR race at Phoenix International Raceway. Dang, I'm sorry I missed it! Instead, I slept all day and cuddled with the dogs. It was nice. I caught up on my internet reading, got some takeout Chinese for dinner, messed around in Photoshop a bit. I think later I will bake a cake. I got a pretty new glass cake stand at Target yesterday for $10!

Target also now sells plain wooden letters for you to paint. My last name starts with the letter "F". Everytime I see one in a different shape or style, I buy it and add it to my "F" wall. Some I alter, if they are wood or papier mache, and some I leave as-is. It's kind of a fun border, and a great way to play with techniques on a small scale. Once I alter the Target letter, I'll add it to my wall.
