Project Life 2013 - Week 25
Left side: I found a BUNCH of Thickers at TJ Maxx for $1.25 a pack. Talk about me being excited! The frame for Bubba's drawing of his dad was found here, via Pinterest. I resized it in Photoshop and cropped out the date.
I ordered this Ali Edwards "Beautiful Everyday" kit years ago and happened to come across the cd that came with it recently. To my delight, it had day of the week brushes for Photoshop!
The swirly journaling area on the card on the left is actually a dingbat from a font called KG Flavor and Frames Two. There are four of these dingbat fonts, and they're great! So many fun and useful shapes. The backgrounds for both of these cards are from Google image searches.
I can't remember where I found the pattern for the card on the left. The card on the right started out as a weathered wood grain I found on an image search and then I layered the chevrons over it.
I tried out a new photo shape for this one. The "love it" and the arrow are dingbats from KG Flavor and Frames Three.
Right side. I did more traditional scrapping on this side as opposed to the digital stuff I did on the left. The Lilly Pulitzer quote was found on Pinterest and resized in Photoshop. Did you know there was even a National Wear Your Lilly Day? I didn't, at least not until Instagram told me. HA!
This was the only digi card on this side. Can I tell you how much I love that bathroom tissue clip art? It was originally paired with an anthropomorphic poo, but I thought that was going an itsy bit too far. ;)
Can you tell I was feeling the hexagons this week?
