Today, I am thankful for the Internet. Right now, my son is happily painting the back patio using a foam paintbrush and a cup of water. Where did I get the idea for this? Why, the Internet!
When we painted the living room, and I needed to get super crisp lines on our walls with rounded corners, I knew to paint over my tape with the white paint that the other wall was painted first, before I painted with the blue I was using in the living room. Result - perfectly crisp lines, unlike the smudgy ones that were there before. Where did I learn this trick? The Internet.
There are some bananas that are woefully overripe sitting on my counter. Later, as soon as my butter has softened, I will make them into loaves of Pumpkin Banana Bread. I found the recipe on the Internet.
When the glass on the patio table we found for an amazing deal at Goodwill was broken by an employee before we were even able to get it out of the store, we were able to find an even better table, with TWO tops and chairs for an even better deal. Where? On the Internet!
If we want to chat with Bubba's grandma, we can not only talk to her, but actually see her, like if we were The Jetsons or something. How? The Internet.
I've taught myself how to knit, how to scrapbook, how to can food, and many other things using the Internet.
I've gotten ideas for home decor from the Internet.
I've been able to share my life and inspire others (or scare them or be a dire lesson, let's be honest here) via the Internet.
I've met new friends and have reconnected with old ones thanks to the Internet.
It truly is a wonderful thing, isn't it?

I have definitely take the internet for granted. I too have learned and shared so many things online - and I am so thankful for that.
