Still no baby
OMG... the dr stripped my membranes again, and this time, since I was expecting it, I was totally tense and therefore, it hurt twice as bad as last time. She actually had to tell me to relax! Now I'm having contractions again, and they're stronger than before. I got my husband to go with me this time, since we were scheduling the induction, and I'm so glad I did because I don't know that I would have been able to drive myself home.
Unless this child changes his mind and surprises us in the next couple of days, it's looking like he'll be born on his due date. We're scheduled to go in on Friday afternoon to start the induction process. She said that should have him arriving on Saturday, and if he chooses to continue to be stubborn, then we'll do a c-section on Saturday.
Yeah, I'm kinda freaking out. Still trying to sweet talk him into coming on his own, but he's not listening so far. I need some major water breaking vibes so we can get him here before all that other stuff happens!
The baby's heartbeat is holding steady in the 140s, and he's measuring right on target. My ob said that the baby isn't necessarily big, he's actually pretty average, but to look at me, you can see his body outline and I look like I'm getting too big. So, he's average for a baby but big for my body, if that makes sense.
You know if the lady who looks at pregnant bellies all day long says you're big, you MUST be huge!!!

Maybe I'm just anxious - got a lot on my plate anyway. Crossing my fingers for you that this 2nd time does the trick. The contractions are hopefully a good sign. You make sure that husband of yours keeps us all updated if you go into labor on your own. OK? :)

After my first was 2 weeks late, I added 2 weeks to my 2nd's due date. Which kind of made him early at 8 days past...:P
You poor thing! I hope he comes soon for you. I'm sure on top of everything you are majorly uncomfortable. Sending you good labor and delivery vibes!

Yay! I'm getting induced tonight, but I'm over a week late, now. C'mon out now, Sawyer!! Sara, I can't wait to see pictures. Until then, I wish you an easy and relaxing few days before you have him, and a quick and easy labor. <3
