A Present for ME!
Fortunately, I am pretty dang clever (if I do say so myself) and I figured out how to make them from scraps a few years back, back when only Kolo made them. Also, since I'm cheap (haha) it just makes more sense to make them from all the scraps I have on hand instead of going out to try and find and buy one.
Here is my finished album:
Instead of punching out photos with a square punch and hand journaling, I laid it all out in Photoshop and then printed them on one sheet of photo paper. It did take a while, but I think the end result looks nice and polished.
I used a 12" x 3" scrap of Imaginisce cardstock, a metal Making Memories frame, and a little bit of May Arts sheer ribbon.
These are my pages. If you click on this, it should show you the larger, readable version. The digital brushes were found on a website called Brusheezy and are called Room 122 Hand Drawn Florals. I did end up just using photos from my blog for this project. No stress, just sitting down and making something. Sometimes, that's just what you need to do, you know?
I posted directions for this album, as well as the simplified version, with photos to follow.

wonderful project. Thanks for the link. I love free brushes
Great project. I am starting mine too. What a difference a year will make when you look back next October 1st! Yours is just lovely! Your cupcake looks so yummy and you are due in almost 2 weeks. How exciting for you! It's a wonderful time in your life and good that you are recording it - for Sawyer!
That's too cute!! Love it....
BeautifuL!
i can vouch for your cleverness. who needs the actual album?!! not you!
i don't think Bazzill makes those anymore either. most of their little albums were being faded out towards the end of when i had my shop.
you album looks great. a nice "snapshot" of right now in your life.
