Halfway point

Today is day 140 in my pregnancy... 140 days to go! This means that I have reached the official halfway point here. My belly is big, you can definitely tell that I am pregnant, I can feel the baby moving if I press my palms against my belly, and I'm very excited to get to meet Sawyer come October!

I also have visited more public bathrooms in the last three months than I have in the last three years, I think. The worst, surprisingly, was in a Ross Dress for Less. I've been in gas station bathrooms that were cleaner than that place! YUCK!

I also am still not eating very much. There are days where I can eat a bit more, but overall, my meals are still small. For instance, last night we went to Carrabas. I ate half a bowl of chicken soup (probably less, I picked out most of the big chicken chunks), three shrimp, one scallop, half a forkful of mashed potatoes, and three 1/2 end slices of bread (1/2 inch thick, maybe 3 or four inches big?). I was so full I thought I might be sick! Luckily, my sweet husband helped me finish my dinner.

I'm getting maternity portraits done today. I'm pretty darn excited. I can't remember the last time I did professional portraits. Senior year of high school maybe? To prepare, my husband and I went and bought matching blue button down shirts. Mine is bigger than his, GAH. The medium just barely went over my belly, and the buttons were straining a bit so I had to go a size up.

While we were there, we also played with the hats, because we're dorks like that and these are the stupid things we do to entertain ourselves:

Consensus - I have a big head, he has a small head, hopefully, our child will have a normal sized head!

We also went and got pedicures. That's right, I said "we". I was thinking we could be barefoot in the photos, but one look at his feet made me feel simultaneously frightened and embarrassed. I got a french pedicure embellished with little blue flowers (working on embracing the blue here) and green rhinestone centers. He opted for no polish, LOL! Surprisingly enough, he wasn't even the only guy in there. Gotta love Ahwatukee.
I think I'm gonna go make some cookies now. Fun times!

Ross's bathrooms STANK. I hate using them. What do public bathrooms have against good ventilation?
