Supply List

I really regret that I haven't been doing anything really creative lately. I've been watcing so much television (and lately, YouTube videos) since I started working that everything else has fallen by the wayside. I don't blog hardly, I dont' scrap, I don't make jewelry, I don't sew, I don't knit, I don't cook or bake very much... it's sad. I have this cool room dedicated to crafts, scrapbooking mostly, and it's an unused mess. There are clothes on my desk chair, an unfinished quilt on the table, empty boxes and bags on the stamping table... it's nuts! Slowly, as I go through each room of my home and clean, declutter, and reorganize, I will get to this room, and I will scrap again. That's a promise!

Sometimes, having too many projects really hinders your creativity, because then there is so much that you feel like you HAVE to do, you never get around to getting to do the things you WANT to do, you know?

Ali Edwards made a challenge to list your current list of supplies and your go-to products. Here are my favorites.

Adhesives: Mini Glue dots for buttons, ribbons, flowers, and other small embellishments, Dotto Permanent for general paper to paper, Herma Vario tabs for the backs of photos, Tombo Mono Multi in the green bottle for chipboard, Tombow glue sticks for general sticking of things down, and Terrifically Tacky Tape for, well, EVERYTHING!

Pens: Black Zig Millenium pens in every size for journaling/doodling. White Sharpie paint pen for highlighting, outlining, and journaling. American Crafts Slick Writers as a permanent yet safe marker for smoother surfaces.

Punches: Fiskars new hand punches that have the squeeze handles are my new favorites! I also love my Tonic corner rounder and does the Cropadile count as a punch? Because if so, you can add that bad boy to the list.

Albums: This is a sore spot, seeing as how I am an 8 1/2" x 11" scrapper. Albums in that size are few and far between, and reasonably priced ones are even harder to find! I was buying these cool faux leather Westrim ones at Walmart, but wouldn't you know that they stopped carrying them?

Storage Stuff - Does it get any better than IKEA? Between the Expedit shelves, storage boxes, jars, Stripa shelves for stamps... Oh, it's OCD paradise there.

Trimmer: My number one go to trimmer is my 17" Ingento maplewood guillotine with the self sharpening blade. It's sharp, it's precise, it holds big or uneven items easily, can go though chipboard no problem... I love it. If I have to travel with my stuff, I have a purple Fiskars one that I like with a rotary blade.
