Beauty and the Feek

My husband and I were watching last week's episode of Beauty and the Geek tonight. The challenge for the girls was to learn about aeronautics, and then they had to give a guided tour inside of this science museum. They came to the area where they had to talk about Sputnik, and the girl was totally talking about the wrong thing. The museum curator asked her to point to it, and she pointed to a satellite. He corrected her and showed her which one was really Sputnik.

I remarked to my husband that I had no idea that Sputnik was that small.

He says, Yeah, it was about the size of a basketball. I don't think they had any people on it though.
