mmmm... Chai!

My friend taught me a new bad thing this week: chai lattes. Iced, of course! OMG, these things are sooooo good! I usually drink the iced chai tea when I go to Pei Wei, but this is nothing like it. I've had three in as many days (with the first being on Friday) and have mastered my order: iced venti 3-pump vanilla skim chai.

The first one I had at this cute cafe in Scottsdale called In The Raw, which is a coffee shop, sandwich shop, and dog bar. That's right, I said dog bar, as in a restaurant that makes special food and drinks for dogs. Dog person heaven! I took Miss Gidget for her vaccinations and to be microchipped (doggie lo-jack) on Friday, and we ended up going to In The Raw for lunch. Gidget and Bailey each had a scoop of peanut butter and carob flavored frozen yogurt, while I had a veggie sandwich and my first iced chai. YUM YUM!

Then, yesterday, while at the mall, I got one from the Paradise Bakery Cafe. Yup, still Yummy! Finally, today, we stopped at Starbucks and I ordered one to help me cool off. It's official, this is my new favorite drink. I have to say, out of the three so far, I really liked the one from Starbucks the best. I know you're not supposed to go there, corporate blah blah blah, support independents, blah blah blah, taking over the world, blah blah, but they do what they do so well! I love me some Starbucks!
