So Blessed

I have so much for which to be thankful this year! My family:

My patient, tolerant, understanding, helpful husband. I'm so lucky to have him, and can't imagine anyone better to whom to be married. He works hard so that I can stay home and be with the little man. He helps around the house. He's great with the baby. He doesn't even question any of my quirks or weird issues, but just accepts them as being part of who I am. He does dishes and the laundry. He's smart, and funny, and makes me laugh.

My sweet little man. He's so sweet and adorable. Even when he's scowling at us! I just want to cover him with kisses. What a beautiful little person we've made here.
Also on the list this year:
*my health
*a nice place to live
*cute little snuggly dogs
*the ability to make some kick ass gravy from turkey drippings
*we finally afforded a new car!
*plenty to eat
*dairy cow boobs
*creativity, whether it be scrapbooking, sewing or cake decorating.
*and finally, all those people who were there, during hard times, during good times, with kind words or words of support, who made me smile during the times when I thought nothing could. I had some really rough points during this year and it was really helpful to have, whether it was someone I met online, or people I knew in real life, or people who are somewhere in between the two and have become friends over the years.

I am truly grateful for all with which I have been blessed. For that reason, today is Thanksgiving Day, and never Turkey Day, because it's not about the turkey.

Ahhh, little turkey. Damn, that's cute. As is your family picture. Is that your first official one? Sawyer has such a lovely mom and dad. It's really nice the two of you are so happy together and have found what you have. It's a special thing. Hold onto it tightly. Happy Thanksgiving!

I used that blender every day during my second trimester - I'd make a Carnation Instant Breakfast with a banana mixed in to help stave off the charley horses. Very thankful for that!

awww he's a cutie! Love that outfit! I was out all night camping in front of Sports Authority with my hubby....(not really worth it by the way!!!) i am hoping to make it to Michael's for some scrap sales later today (or just to look!). My kids were both sick so Thanksgiving was a little rough. Not too much fun eating after cleaning up vomit.....Luckily I was able to leave them with my parents today!
