Diet Bento
It's not been a bento heavy week, with me sleeping in today (oops) and the all employee lunch yesterday (glutton-fest) and going out on Friday. Ah well.
Here I have dry roasted, unsalted almonds with a fish oil capsule in there (I know, you're totally jealous), broccoli, edamame, carrot stars, ONE lonely potsticker that I cut in half to give myself the illusion of plenty, shrimp with sweet chili sauce, brown rice with crushed flax seeds (this was before I bought the grinder), Everything Pretzel chips from Trader Joes for a snack, and some kiwi and blueberries.
Everything was good, but it was knowing what I could have had instead that made it so sad.
Brown rice with flax seeds, garnished with furikake and a carrot sakura, crackers, edamame and more carrot sakuras, grilled chicken breast, almonds, a little container of soy sauce, broccoli, a hard boiled egg, more everything pretzels, and some apple slices for a snack. I love these little preportioned bags of cut up apples. They're perfect to grab and go!
I put the crackers on top of the almonds and chicken to hold them in place. The less free space you have, the less your food will try to relocate itself in transit.
So I just discovered that a bunch of the peas are into bento, and I couldn't be more excited! Of course, like anything on 2ps, there are the "haters", but whatever. Let them have their boring sammiches! HA!

Looks yummy and healthy, although being a fan of dumplings and steamed roast pork buns myself, I sympathize with you!
I don't know anything about Diet Bento but it looks like a yummy lunch...minus the fish oil capsule! You're eating a few of my favorite things :)
I don't know of anything that can't be found as a topic on 2Ps. Ignore the haters!
That looks like a very healthy lunch, I'm jealous!
