I can see clearly now!

Well, I could see pretty clearly before, but I'm seeing 20/15 now! Check out my slammin' new specs:

Yes, my husband spoils me! I love them so much. I started looking for new frames in JUNE and didn't find the perfect pair until I gave up on the chain shops and ventured into a few high end shops. Six months I looked for the perfect pair, and when I found them, I wasn't just going to walk away. That means that we had to pay out of pocket for these bad boys, since they didn't take our insurance.

My husband said to look at it this way - I wear my glasses every day. A pair of glasses generally lasts two years. They have to look good and make me happy for 730 days in a row, minimum. That's a tall order to fill! What else in your wardrobe has that kind of task? When you look at it that way, they cost less than 50 cents a day. Since I don't drink soda, I think this is a pretty justifiable expense.

How you like those reasoning skills? ;)

Here's a photo of our Christmas tree. Looks a little bare to me. I think it needs some more ornaments. I love the ones we have though. I added a couple Hello Kitty ones after I took this picture.

All of our Christmas shopping is DONE! We can't wrap anything, per TSA guidelines, so for now it's all in bags under the tree. How festive, haha!

Oh golly gosh, I LOVE your new glasses! To get the frames I wanted I had to pretty much throw myself on the floor and and have a temper tantrum. How smart, justifying them by the lack of soda drinking. I wish I had just been that clever. :)

Pretty tree, I like your star! :)
