Why is it...
Why is it that when certain people see someone turn on their blinker so that they can merge, they speed up so that they won't have to let you in?
I was driving along, and I saw that my lane was going to end into one of those "right turn only" lanes, so I turned on my signal because I didn't want to turn. The girl in the next lane, where I wanted to be, sees me and steps on the gas so that I can't get in front of her!
Now, I was in no way cutting her off, because if she had kept going at the rate she was there would have been 4 or 5 car lengths in between her and the car in front of her. But nooooo, she has to be that 1/4 second ahead. It's such a first grade mentality!
So anyway, I do manage to get in front of her in spite of her best efforts, and she proceeds to tailgate me. I'm already going 50 in a 45 zone (bad, I know) but this wasn't fast enough for her. She swings into the next lane over, without signaling, I might add, and speeds up so that she can get back in front of me. Fine. Then we both were at a red light! HA!
Someone may or may not have been called a stupid whore during this incident. I can't say.

I freakin' HATE people like this. Everyone in Chicago drives like an asshole. Except me, of course!
Well, down here in Texas we can carry guns and my Hubs drives like that person...one of these days I'm afraid someone's gonna shoot him. And if he arms himself I'm afraid he's gonna shoot someone. It's c-r-azy. (Actually, I'm pretty sure if someone aimed at him they'd shoot me, with my luck). ROFL
This is why I stay home as much as possible! OK, that's not the reason.... ;-)
