I Won't be home for Christmas

We are leaving to Seattle in a few hours. I should be finishing up packing, but you know how that goes. I have my customary pre-flight stomachache. I HATE FLYING!!! It freaks me out every time, but what are you going to do, right?

I took the kids over to my friend's house this morning. She will be watching them while we are gone. It's been 2 hours since I saw them and I already miss them terribly. It's weird being home and not having any little dogs to snuggle with while you watch tv. How am I going to survive 5 days without them? How did I ever survive without them?

I know we're going to have a good, albeit cold and wet, time in Seattle, we always do. I'll eat too much while we are there, all the yummy stuff I can't get here like Humbaos and Shumais and Mushy cakes, yum yum! And of course, there is getting to see the family. I love my in laws, I am very lucky to have them.

So, since I won't be around the next few days, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays y'all!
