Get a job?

I was thinking... maybe I should try to find a job.

Does it make sense to look for a job right before Christmas, especially if you know you will be out of town for a week or so?

There is a vet about a block from here that has a NOW HIRING sign hanging out front. It says clerical.

I can do clerical.

I've done clerical before! All the way back to high school, and as recently as last year. Piece of cake.

I wonder if I would wear regular clothes or if they would have me wear scrubs. I've never seen anyone at a vet's office in anything but scrubs, come to think of it. How cool would that be? It's like I'd get to go to work in jammies and sneakers!!!

Of course, that's if I can get myself off my ass and update my resume (ugh) and get over there to apply. I still have this nasty "fear of rejection" thing going on hardcore in my mind.

I have to think about it.
