Can you believe it? I know it's cliche to say, but this year has flown by. I've started to pull out Christmas decorations, and slowly but surely, decorations are being put up around here.
I put together this simple display on the table in our entryway. I think it needs a little banner or something up there still. I've had a lot of people tell me that they don't know how to decorate a surface like this, so I put together a little list of tips for Holiday Decorating, Miss M style. I guest posted on Kat's blog
Living Like The Kings today, so you can find it there. It will give you a little peek into my method and tips on where to find decor without breaking the bank.
I wrapped up
The Gratitude Project yesterday. I'm glad I stuck with it, even if I did have to retro post a couple of times because it would slip my mind occasionally. One of the interesting things I found was that some people are REALLY annoyed by others expressing gratitude. I saw lots of negative posts on Facebook and Twitter where people were wishing November would just be over so they wouldn't have to read what their friends were thankful for every day. I also lost about ten followers over the course of the month here through Google Friend Connect. I've never lost that many in such a short amount of time before.
Well, I'm off - there's a faux mantel over my tv just crying out for my attention!

I love the idea of a gratitude project and enjoy being reminded how blessed we all are. It's sad that some people get annoyed when they should be thankful.
