The Other Bathroom

We finally finished decorating the hall bathroom the other day.

The verdict? I like it, but I don't LOVE it.

My very favorite thing in there is this set of photographs taken by Jen Morris. I saw these on her blog a long, long time ago and instantly was in love. She was kind enough to send me the files and they've been sitting on my computer, waiting.

Originally they were sepia toned. When we picked the colors for the bathroom, based on the Goodwill shower curtain, I was kind of bummed because I knew the warm brown toned photos wouldn't fit in with my decor. Then I remembered - DUH! I have photoshop!

I just love them.

I went simple on the counter - a couple of apothecary jars (Goodwill finds, n'est-ce pas)filled with cotton balls and cotton swabs, a lace edge porcelain plate on a candlestick (also Goodwill finds), to hold a candle, and an etched glass soap dispenser I found at HomeGoods.

The cute little wreath I got at Target on clearance for $2.88. Kick butt. The curtain, as mentioned previously, was a Goodwill find for $6.99. It was half price day so I only paid $3.50! The wreath and curtain provided the color scheme for everything else.

In the interest of "keeping it real," this is what it looks like in there most days. Isn't having a toddler fun? :)
