Mission: Organization Part Deux

A little over a week ago, I posted that I was helping my friend clean up her scrapbooking area. I posted the "before" photos here. We finished cleaning and organizing her room yesterday so I thought I'd post the "after" photos.

Her desk. (before shot here) We cleared off the tops and emptied out the drawers. Now they're all organized neatly and her most often used tools and embellishments are in jars along the top. Her Scrap in Style tote holds her cardstock which got sorted by color. The smaller Paper Taker on top holds patterned paper sorted by theme.

The dresser. (before photo here) This room also serves as a guestroom, so there is some bedroom furniture in there that had to stay. We cleared it all off and some of the drawers hold items such as Cricut cartridges and photos.

The bed and nightstands were cleared off as well.

The biggest change - the floor! (before photo here) Everything was cleared off the floor and sorted to either be kept, donated, sold, or tossed.

The closet. I didn't remember to take before photos in here. All the shelves and the floor were cleared out. All the albums are together on a shelf behind the door and reorganized. All of the stuff in the Art Bins was pulled out and reorganized. All the stuff we cleaned off the floor got reorganized into those bins as well. The big tub is full of ribbon and the blue Cropper Hopper containers hold small embellishments. It was really important to my friend that all of her stuff stayed portable since she scrapbooks outside her home more often than in her room.

On this shelf, we've put all her Sizzix stuff in a tope, along with some boxes of product to donate and a few binders that we emptied out. Underneath it are two large tubs full of product that she plans to put out at her next yard sale.

Now her room is clean, organized and functional! Yay!
