Twelve of Twelve - May 09

Every month, I can be found kicking myself late in the afternoon on the twelfth because I once again forgot to take photos for the 12 of 12.  This month, however, was different thanks to Susan posting that it was the twelfth on Twitter, I was able to get my photos!  WOOT!

Without further ado, here are photos of my day yesterday.

Every day starts with some cuddle time in bed with Mr. Man.  I surely do love those baby toes!

My husband worked from home yesterday, so Bubba and I checked Facebook and Twitter while dad made some baby cereal.

Then he volunteered to feed him because...

I'm sick.  (sideways photo, grr) Yesterday was day two of the cold, and therefore it was the "OMG I THINK I'M GONNA DIE ALREADY" day.  I didn't eat anything until late in the day because nothing sounded good, and when I did it was Campbell's Chicken Noodle and saltines.  Exciting.

I actually got up, fed the baby, played with him a bit, then went and laid down for a LONG nap before getting up and being told that I HAD to eat something at 4 pm.  This stupid cold is kicking my butt, and is part of the reason why my husband decided to telecommute that day.  Thanks goodness for that!

I did some laundry.

We had Chicken Shiitake over steamed rice for dinner.  Simple but yummy.  Don't you just LOVE my Hello Kitty shamoji?

I made a little baby food.  There are carrots in the bowl and silicone mold, and peaches frozen in the bag.  Two of Bubba's favorites!

I took my temperature to be sure I didn't have a fever.  Can't be having the swine flu now!  LOL!  I was safe though.  No fever.

My half dead tulips, a houseplant, Chicken, and Bubba's ASU cap on the new dresser.  I finally remembered to water my plants yesterday.  Maybe "remember" isn't the right word, since I did think about it before, I just never actually got around to doing it.  I'm pretty sure it had been over two weeks since the prior watering.  Oops.

We chatted on Skype with my mother in law for a bit.  Bubba was playing shy, so we busted out the new trick of waving the camera in his face to get the big smiles.  You can kinda see his teeth here.

I ended the night with a little Sorority Life on Facebook before bed.  I've spent WAAAAY too much time playing this game lately.  My character is Muffy von Cupcake, ha ha!
