That dang blanket
I am FINALLY getting around to finishing this damn Seahawks blanket. Nothing like waiting until the last minute, right? I bought the fabric for the binding last weekend, and just got around to cutting, attaching the strips together, and pressing it yesterday. I used my machine to attach it to the front side of the blanket, but the back side needs to be done by hand.
That's right. Just a needle, some thread, and some very, very sore fingers.
We watched two DVDs last night, and I managed to finish two sides of this. My husband was impressed, because I usually have a hard time making it through one whole movie, but since it kinda hurts to get up, I'm doing a LOT better at sitting for long stretches these days.
I'm going to work on this a bit more today before jumping in the shower (yeah, I'm a slacker) and getting ready to go out for dinner. I found a gift certificate that I won last Christmas for dinner at the hotel restaurant for two. It expires on December 31st of this year, but I figure that we probably won't be looking to go out just the two of us in the next two months. So, tonight we celebrate our last date night without baby.
Shrimp lollipops, here I come!

ok so i am hoping you had a baby today...(fingers crossed!) I know how awful hard those last few days are...it really kicks your butt carrying that load. Even with all the excitement, it was still a very tough thing to stand up. I worked (a desk job) right up to the day before I delivered the last 2 babies and I have to say standing up at the end of the day was rough. Get ready for the sleepless nights to come!! But believe me, they don't last forever.
Hoping little one gets his GPS working and find his way out. I hope he comes soon.
I just stopped by to wish you the best of luck in your induction today!
Maybe he's waiting for you to finish the blanket before he comes out?? LOL!
I hope as I type this, either you're in labor or had him already!! Sending you {{good vibes}}!! GOOD LUCK!!
Hope you enjoyed your date night. That's really nice!
