Sawyer's first home movie

As I was wandering through other people's blogs, I happened upon a post where the blogger had taken video of her ultrasound, so that others could see her babies wiggle and squirm. GENIUS! I thought to myself. I wonder if I could do that?

Of course, I was thinking, hmm, doctor's office, fear of liability, blah blah blah... but then I was like, well, she did it, and what's the harm in asking? So, when I went in for my third ultrasound today, I did ask, and the technician said sure!

Without further ado, here is Sawyer's first Home Movie.

Of course, since I was shooting it myself, and the monitor was angled toward the tech, I had to sort of reach over. Therefore, it's a bit wobbly. Not perfect, but it works. He waves to the camera at :25 and again at :57, but overall, the stubborn little booger just laid there. It's like he was saying, I'm not performing for you, Woman!

I guess he's got his mama's ornery streak, huh? Of course, then he wiggled and kicked the entire drive home.

The tech found his heart and spine, which is what we were there to look for as they didn't show up last time. His heartrate is 145, and he weighs about 1 lb, 5 oz. That's almost a full POUND more than the last ultrasound a few weeks ago!!!

She also confirmed that yes, he's still a boy. I got a new photo of his junk for proof. Thank goodness!
