Weekly Bento Post
Top tier: Steamed white rice topped with a few slices of scowly hardboiled egg, which I decorated with nori (that's me in the morning, I swear!), broccoli, and grape halves (had to get the seeds out!) in a silicone baking cup.
Bottom tier: Shumai with broccoli and carrot stars.
Top tier: Steamed white rice topped with furikake, boiled shrimp (I boiled them on skewers and cut them ebi sushi style), a fishy with gyoza sauce, and a piggy with soy sauce.Bottom tier: Two boiled gyoza (decided I liked them boiled the best), a plain, plain hard boiled egg, a bunch of edamame, and some carrot stars.
Top tier: Four boiled gyoza, a barbecue pork bun, broccoli, and carrot sakura blossoms.
Bottom tier: Steamed white rice with broccoli and furikake. One carrot sakura for garnish.
Top tier: A crab cake that I broiled about a minute too long (oops), a hard boiled egg decorated with fish shaped nori cutouts (scrapbooking punches punch nori like a dream!), and some shumai hiding under broccoli and carrot stars.
Bottom tier: Steamed white rice with broccoli and furikake. Two carrot stars for garnish, and a fish of soy sauce.
