Layout Friday

I did some layouts for my friend's store in Oregon. Seriously, if you ever find yourself in Albany, Oregon for whatever reason, you HAVE to stop in and see her at The Scrap Yard. I live in Phoenix, which is pretty much a giant scrapbooking mecca. I've been to the stores in Salt Lake City and Provo, and I think the ones here are as good, if not better. Well, okay, I really loved All My Memories. Pebbles in My Pocket was just okay, but like I said, I'm spoiled here. Anyway, Susanne's store is just as good if not better than the stores around here. A perfect scrapbook treasure in Podunk, Oregon! Hee hee!

Okay, commercial over. Here are the layouts. First, two using the MM pet papers:

Husband and Dog, watching t.v. All MM product, except solid tan cardstock (Bazzill) black letter stickers (Doodlebug) and pens (Zig Millenium).Ah, my cutie patootie after a haircut and a bath! All MM product except Java cardstock (Bazzill) miscellaneous buttons, and QK ampersand diecut from Sunshine set.

Next, two using some Wild Asparagus stuff. I have to say, My Minds Eye has some nerve repackaging their lame 2002 frame ups in their new popular line, but hey, I guess that's marketing for you.

My sister in law and her ex boyfriend. Hmm, hopefully she won't find herself in Oregon any time soon. It was such a good picture, I was so sad when they broke up shortly after I took it because I wasn't going to be able to use it. Well, looky here, hee hee! All Wild Asparagus by My Mind's Eye except Bazzill cardstock, miscellaneous ribbon and rick rack, Prima flowers, PSX Sparkles in Diamond (I think Ice Stickles is a similar product, as PSX is no longer) and a EK Success paper shaper flower punch. My baby dog, when she was about 9 months old and still kinda small. All product Wild Asparagus by My Mind's Eye, except MM bookplate, Rusty Pickle alphabet stamps, Bazzill Cardstock, Quickutz heart die cut, PSX Sparkles in Diamond, and Ancient Page inkpad in Chocolate. Font is Beansprout DNA. I don't know why but to me, this Wild Asparagus paper really likes glitter.

Finally, one using the Rick Perdue papers from Creative Imaginations. This one was really hard, as I usually don't work with those colors or that style of product. Not so much into the retro thing, but I like how this came out. I think this is why I like design team work, it really forces me to think outside my box and work on my creativity. Creativity is WORK, y'all!

Isn't my friend purty? All product Rick Purdue for Creative Imaginations except Lil Davis flower, Heidi Swapp flowers, Prima flowers, MM snaps, miscelleaneous ribbon, and some machine stitching.

My scanner is WAAAAAAY dirty, I was realizing when I was scanning these. I wonder how that happens, seeing as how it has a lid and all? Go figure.

All your Lo's are great! I like the composition of the couch potatoes and the Love page is just so pretty. Dang your dogs are cute!!
