FFA Friday - September 2 (and my Accent Vlog)

Weigh in day! I was praying that the number on the scale would have gone down a little because I sort of didn't keep track of my calories very well this week. It's really hard if you're just cooking regularly and not using a recipe from a book with calorie counts! Also, there may have been MANY Oatmeal Cherry Chocolate chip cookies ingested in the past few days. I missed boot camp on Tuesday because I was feeling cruddy too.

Not the best diet and exercise week, is what I'm trying to say!

Imagine my surprise then when I got on the scale and saw this:

That second digit hasn't been an eight in quite a while!!! That was exciting for sure. This brings my total weight loss to seven pounds since August 15! It's amazing what just being aware of those evening snacks has done. I've either cut them out, or carefully budgeted those calories into my day and it's paying off.

Since I posted my thoughts on boot camp yesterday, I thought I'd do the accent vlog meme that's been going on around Twitter. It's kind of fun to hear all these people that I read every day. Of course, my sidekick had to do it with me and provide running commentary. I started trying to upload this at 5:30 in the afternoon and it wasn't done until EIGHT flipping hours later because my webcam program decided that my 4 minute video needed to be a GB and a half, which is NOT cool. My husband finally got it compressed after much wailing and gnashing of teeth from me.

Technology is awesome.

The instructions are to say these words:
Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught

And answer these questions:
What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
What is the thing you use to change the TV channel?

There's a linkup on Jenna's Journey if you want to check out some of the other ones people have done. Leave me a comment if you do one so I can see!

Congrats on the loss again this week. And yes, you do have an accent, we all do, it's just we don't notice when talking to others in our area ;o) I would play along but I we don't have some of the things in that question list, and I'm not sure how the webcam on my laptop works lol

I'm amazed that ours are almost the same! How weird, since we're on opposite sides of the country. And Sawyer's such a talker! Cute!
