The weather has been super nice here lately, so the baby and I have been walking to the neighborhood park in the afternoons. Sometimes, if I know my husband is not working too late, we'll wait for him and he will join us. That's always nice.
In the past week or so, the boy has mastered climbing on the equipment so he can go down the slide.
Because in a former life I did work at a school, it drives me nuts to see kids not using the equipment properly - standing on swings, climbing up slides, etc. I taught the baby how to slide down on his bottom, but he figured out quickly that it was more fun to go down feet first on his stomach. I guess it's a bit easier for him right now too. Once he gets a little bigger we'll work on going down properly.
