Crap!

So I got this great idea to add another column to my blog so that my sidebars would be more organized.  I've been using the same Blogger template since I started blogging four years ago, and I know it pretty well.  The problem is, I wasn't using the Minima template which is the one that all the tutorials seem to be written for nowadays.  I've managed to figure out how to add and change a lot of content here, but this third column was killing me.

Notice how I'm talking (typing?) in the past tense here?  Yeah.  That's because your's truly went ahead and scrapped her old template and STARTED FROM SCRATCH!!!  Of course, being truly OCDed, I couldn't just go to bed with it half done.  Not me.  It's now 5:30 am and the sun is coming up.  I've got a nasty headache too.  This is what I get!

But if you look over to the right of this text, there is now another sidebar where previously, there was none.  That means I DID IT!  HA!  All by myself, with no preexisting code from a cute website to cut and paste into place either.  I had to read that damn HTML and figure out what things meant and what needed to be altered.  I also went ahead, since I was starting from scratch, and fixed it so that I my posts would automatically be pink and all the links and titles would be green.  Before I would change the color in my post editor but now it's automatically done for me.  Kick butt.  The best part is that not only will everything match now, the pink is now a true pink and not that pinky purple color.

Yes, I have issues, but now, being unhappy with my blog isn't one of them.  Okay, technically I still need a new banner (this one is an oldie but goodie, haha) but I can work on that tomorrow.

Yeah...I was unhappy with my blogger, too. But instead of being industrious like you and figuring out how to make it work, I just got a new blog...and wasted many hours on that, too!!! Looks good, though!!! :)
