Gratitude Journal - Revisited

Last January, I posted about an idea I found on Cathy Zielske's blog, that she found on Emily Falconbridge's blog for a Gratitude Journal. (It spreads just that fast, kids.) I thought it was a great idea, and I made one for myself. The idea was to list something for which I was grateful or thankful every week. I had someone tell me I was crazy and I'd never keep it up for the whole year, but check it out!

So, BOO to you, Naysayer! HA!

Sure, I fell behind a couple of times (most notably, when Bubba arrived) but I used my blog as a tool to be able to go back and see what was going on in those missed weeks so I could get caught up. Now it's done! Although I'm really pround of how it turned out, I will not be repeating it this year. I'd rather focus the little attention I have these days on my project 365 album. It will be my first all digital scrapbook ever!

I have to tell you though, I felt like a complete and utter tool making this video. It's my first "vlog" (doesn't that sound kinda douchey?) so be gentle, okay? It was the best way I could think of to show all the pages without 50 million photographs here.

Congrats it is a huge accomplishment and great reminder that no matter how hard a time we think we are having that there is good stuff to be celebrated. And funny enough the more you concentrate on the good things, the more you find!

That looks like it was so much work. Good for you for doing it and sticking to it. I liked seeing all the colors, shapes and things you used to display your gratitude list. It'll be nice to have it to refer to when you're feeling down. We are all pretty damn lukcy. An area or two might seem pretty rough sometimes, but remembering that we have people that love us, a roof over our head, two legs that work -- there's something to all that. Your video was fun. :) Thanks for sharing!

That's a great book! :) Thanks for sharing it with us. I think that is a good thing to remember all our blessings. And may I just say that in my head you don't sound like you do in that video! LOL
(Great job on that too btw!) You have a more pronounced accent than I was expecting! I hope you'll do more videos, I enjoyed it! :)

LOL... I have an accent? You know, people are always telling me that I do, but no one can pinpoint exactly what the heck kind of accent it is.
