Here's my butt, Mom!

Last night, as I was sitting on the couch watching television, I looked down at my belly because it felt really tight off to one side. Sure enough, there was this huge bulge, for lack of a better term, on the upper left side of my stomach. I kinda craned my neck to be able to see it from a different angle, and it was pretty obvious that my stomach was dipping in OVER my navel, only to swell up again into this bump. It kinda looked like a grapefruit was being shoved against me from the inside!

I pointed it out to my husband, but he didn't see it. He sort of set his head on my shoulder, and I showed him how it dipped above my belly button, and then the bump. He tilted his head a bit, and then he saw it.

And then, I placed my palm directly on it and it was HARD. Like, by stomach is pretty firm, this this was hard! I told my husband to do it too, and he's like, HEY, that's Bubba!!!

It was too big of a bulge, and too undefined to have been something as small as a hand or elbow. Maybe his butt? Ha ha! Who knows? My son, the comedian. A minute later though, he had moved, and that spot was once again soft and even with the rest of my stomach. He did it again a little while ago, in the same place, but it wasn't nearly as pronounced as it was last night. This time, when I laid my hand on it, he moved.

I tell ya, I'm so in love with this kid already it isn't even funny.

My 1st son did this. Every night about 8 he would move to the far left side of my tummy and it would be hard as a rock and all wop-sided. lol. It was really cool in a freakishly weird sort of way.
But really, you know how hard it got? Remember that. Because that's how your whole stomach will feel when you first start having contractions. It'll tense, then when it's over, it'll release. REALLY weird feeling!
