Filthy smelly LIARS!

I'm convinced.

You know those folks who say that exercising gives you energy? The ones who say it helps you feel better? The ones who claim that they like to sweat? The ones who think it helps curb unhealthy appetites?

Liars.

I'm sure it's a great big consipracy to get us normal people to go to the gym. I went to the gym yesterday. I was sweaty, and I hated every minute of it. I don't like to be hot! Why can't they put little fans on the fronts of those treadmills? I didn't feel better or energized. I felt tired! As a matter of fact, I went home, had dinner and then crashed at 7:30. I managed to sleepstraight through the night until 7:15 this morning (oops) with the exception of the ten minutes where I woke up because the kids were fighting and one of the little buttheads bit my foot. Hard.

As far as curbing my appetites goes, um, I don't think so. By the time I left there I was ravenous, and the hamburgers they were grilling right outside the front door didn't help any. Neither did the KFC in the parking lot. The whole place smelled like grilling burgers and fried chicken. I'm supposed to want to lose weight?

Sheesh. I can't decide which I hate more - being fat or trying to be healthy.

I totally empathize with you! I want to lose weight myself but dang...it sure isn't easy! Why can't it be as easy to lose the weight as it it to gain it?!? LOL!

at least 2 of our gyms have fast food places right outside as well. what's up with that? when i went to jenny craig a long time ago there was the same kind of thing. it's a conspiracy.

and the exercise thing? they say it takes 2 weeks to get that effect. i never make it 2 days. i HATE exercise!
