I'm BACK!

But you knew that already!

I got back really late Thursday evening, and went straight to bed. Friday and yesterday were spent cleaning house (husband all alone for a week and a half - you figure it out!) and recovering. I need a vacation to get over my vacation. We were constantly on the go.

It took 2 days to get there, and one to get home. Our rental car had 400 miles on it when we got it, and 3100 when we returned it, ha ha! It was a vacation of firsts: First attempt at tagging (see photo bar above), first time at the hot air balloon fiesta, first time in a gay bar, first time in a lesbian bar, first time kissing a girl (yes, the husband knows), first time in Oklahoma, First time through New Mexico, first time buying a Halloween costume instead of making up something on my own (and it's kinda slutty too), first time eating at Panera, first time hearing of the shroud of Turin, first time seeing a blue jay, first time seeing a storm cellar... lots of little things that add up to the whole of me in the end.

I met new people, saw new things, went new places, and all in all, had a really good time. I'm so glad that my friend invited me along for the trip.Glad and thankful.
