Yup - I'm up a pound. I think this has a LOT to do with the fact that last night, while dealing with yet ANOTHER bout of insomnia I was ravenously hungry for whatever reason. Between midnight and 4 am I may have consumed an ice cream cone (rocky road!), a package of Reese's Dark Chocolate peanut butter cups, and TWO cheese sandwiches. Granted, the sandwiches were on homemade whole wheat bread so they weren't that big, but still. That's a lot of calories. I ate all my calories yesterday too, including the ones I got for exercising. I usually don't eat those. I don't know what's up, except maybe pms? TMI?
Yesterday was my last day of boot camp. I almost didn't go because I had slept less than two hours and my sinuses have been bothering me. I missed Tuesday too because of not sleeping. I didn't fall asleep that day until about eight in the morning and class is at nine. That's right; I've watched the sun rise (sorta - I guess I saw the sky lighten is more accurate) the past three days in a row. It blows.
In the end though, I got out of bed and hauled my butt there. I'm really glad now that I did of course. I did a pretty good job with the workout in spite of my lack of rest/sinus issues and because it was my last day, I had my measurements taken. It was kind of wild.

That means that in four weeks I've lost a total of 7.75 inches from my body. My trainer said I could technically double the losses from my arms and legs since I have two of each, which would bring it to 11.75 inches lost from my body. WHOA.
I wish that this wasn't my last week. I'm pretty bummed that we can't afford the $275 a month it costs, but that's a big chunk of money out of our budget when we have hospital bills to pay! I did find a
Bootcamp app for my phone though that is made by the same people who made the
Couch to 5K app that I use. It's only a few of bucks so I'm going to do that and try to stick with exercising at least twice a week. I know it's not a lot, but look what it did so far! I missed a day this week and last week too.
I'm trying out
My Fitness Pal in the next week for food tracking. I've found a couple of other bloggers that use that app so I'll have "friends" on there. No one is using
Lose It! apparently! I couldn't find one person on Facebook, Twitter, or my email contacts when I did the friend search. Unfortunately, MFP doesn't have a friend search, but the two I have on there right now is two more than I had on Lose It! If you want to try it, or are already on there, you can add me -
http://www.myfitnesspal.com/splendidmissm
It has this cool feature where you can scan the barcode on foods to get the nutrition information using your iPhone. I can't use that feature YET because I have an ancient 3G one, but it will be cool when I get to finally upgrade to a new one. I also like that it has you track your water, which Lose It! didn't do and has a wall so I can see what people I know on there are up to.
SO! If you are using My Fitness Pal, hit me up and we can totally say Farewell to our Fat Asses together! :)

Well done on the loss so far, keep it up, and hope the apps work :o) As it's getting into autumn and getting cooler, can you maybe do some walking round the neighbourhood or local park? It's free, and it burns calories :o)
I think it is great that you are measuring all the different parts of your body...it is so easy to just get focused on the scale when in fact there are other things to celebrate as well! I use myfitnesspal but have taken a break. I go through seasons of trying to count calories and I got a little burnt out on it recently. Some of my home workouts when I am not at the gym: mini trampoline in front of the tv :) I like Jillian Michael's dvd's, and even just doing what you learned in boot camp on your own...in your living room or yard...hope you find something fun and motivating! If you lived closer I would work out with you! :)
