Valentine Felt Heart Garland

Remember the felt hearts from yesterday's 12 of 12 post? Well, here's what I did with them:

I made this cute little heart garland! Pardon the crappy photo - that mirror is kind of high for me and it was hard to get a good shot in this low light. In case you were wondering, the little hole above it is from where the clock was there before Christmas and I haven't had a chance to spackle it yet. Priorities, you know.

It's made from 48 felt hearts, individually hand cut by your's truly and then stitched together on the sewing machine. I'd say each heart was approximately two inches wide, but they vary a bit due to me winging it with the hearts. I'm too lazy to get up and measure them.

I made this little rosette pin as an embellishment. Again, crappy photo due to low light and an unsteady hand. Sorry! It's made from a vintage dictionary page and a chipboard heart that I covered in red Stickles. There's a pin on the back so you can put it wherever you like, or just take it off altogether.

That's right. I said "you!"

I made two of these bad boys. One for moi, and one for one of my readers. I haven't done a giveaway here in ages, so I figured, what the heck. Just leave a comment to enter. PLEASE make sure that I can email you in case you win! If you'd like another entry, become a follower. My little widget guy is kind of small right now. For a third and fourth entry, you can either tweet about this (even though I realize it's just a small prize, but if you like it why not up your odds) or mention it on your blog. Make sure you leave me your Twitter name and/or blog link in your comment as well, so I can check it out. I've been looking for new blogs to read!

Good luck! You can enter until 11:59 pm on Monday, January 18. I'll announce the winner on Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on how much computer time the little man gives me that day. :)

EDITED TO ADD:

I added new photos the morning after posting this. There is more light in here now, so you can see them a little better.

I was actually wondering if you might post one of these on Etsy as I was reading the post, and then I found out you were doing a giveaway. Thanks for the opportunity to win. This is so cute! Looks like it was a fair amount of work. It's so nice of you to share one. Thanks!
