The Most Fun EVER

My child is just the chattiest thing ever. He will go on and on, seemingly about nothing. He likes to lecture the dogs. He goes on and on when his dad gets home from work. The problem is, the only words we can make out so far are the names of our dogs, Leila and Gidget.

Yeah.

It's funny though, because if you didn't know better you'd swear he was speaking a foreign language. His chatter has the cadence of speech, complete with inflection, tone, and feeling. He makes facial expressions that go with his tone of voice. For instance, he'll lift his eyebrows in a quizzical expression as he lifts his voice and the end of his speech, like he's asking you a question. It's pretty funny, and at the same time, it's kind of frustrating. I know he's trying to tell us something, but we have no clue what it could be!

When I got out of the shower tonight, I found the baby and my husband playing with this die cast metal car in the kitchen. He's been really into cars the past couple weeks, and the fact that this one goes on its own is wildly entertaining to him for some reason. He was so excited! He was doing his little stompy happy dance and chattering a mile a minute, so I got out the camera to get a recording.

Silly baby. :)
