A Hundred Thanks

We do this thing at work called giving a Million Thanks. You can thank others for helping you, or just report that you saw them doing some good deed around the hotel. This way, people know that others are noticing the little things they do to go "above and beyond" and they have some sort of written trail of it all.
Every week they do a drawing at the staff meeting of the ones turned in that week, and someone wins a pair of movie passes. I've won this twice so far.
The big deal with these, however, is that the three people who have the most in a month get to play Deal or No Deal at the monthly Employee Luncheon. I never watched the show, so I had no idea what the rules were, but I've figured it out pretty well over the last five months. (wow, I've been here five months already???) Of course, it's a mini version, with only five suitcases, and the prizes are winnings between $5 and $100, but that's CASH, tax free!
And this month, guess who got to play...
and win?
WOO! That's some fun money right there. I dont' know what I'll do with it yet. Sock it away? Spend it all in one place? Buy my husband a present? Who knows? I'm just so grateful and blessed to have a good job where the people are fun and they really seem to appreciate the employees, cash or no cash.
