It seems sort of unfair to do a weigh in just four days after my initial weigh in, especially since my birthday fell smack dab in the middle of that time span. I like food, and there's no way that I was going to be one of those pucker butts who can't let a little bit loose on their birthday of all days and goes around whining, "no, I can't, I'm on a diet." Woe is me.
So, I had popcorn and a fruit punch (but skipped the customary Peanut M&Ms that usually make it into my popcorn, yay me!) when I went to the movies, the most fantastic steak panini with bleu cheese, caramelized onions, arugula and horseradish aioli for lunch, TWO iced chai lattes, a loaded baked potato almost the size of my head (not really) for dinner, and a slice (which I shared with my menfolk) of red velvet cake for dinner.
Ah, good eating day!
But other than that, since Monday, I've been doing very well with the calorie counting. Every bite has been logged into Lose It
, and I've managed to stay well below my calorie allotment for the day in an effort to try and offset Wednesday's gluttony. I've also had two days so far of boot camp. The result?
Half a pound down. Go me!
