I love me some social networking. Mmm hmm! I had someone ask me if being on Facebook was my job once, which was admittedly not very nice, but it gives you some idea. Obviously, it's not, and I'm not on there THAT much. If I was, how would I have time for playing with the boy, cooking, and craft projects?
Exactly.
Just like reading blogs, I love how seeing what people are doing on Facebook and Twitter (I'm SO over MySpace, yo) gives me a peek into the lives of others. It's also a great way to learn about new things, such as recipes to try, products to buy, and things to read. I think sites like this are a big part of the answer to the question of how can I stand to stay home alone with just a toddler for company. I don't really ache for adult interaction because I get it in a way by chatting with people online in bits and pieces, and this allows me to more fully give my attention to my child and home.
I got a message from All Clad on Twitter the other day asking me if my blog had a Facebook page. I've seen these "fan" pages for other blogs on there before, but never thought my little blog was big enough for one. No one had been asking for one anyway, until now! What better excuse to make one, right?
Yes, I'm a dork, but now I'm a dork whose blog has a Facebook page! Whoo! If you'd like to "Like" my blog on Facebook, click
here. And, as always, thanks for visiting me here and reading my blatherings. I do appreciate it. :)

Congrats on fb page! I'll go "like"!
I have one too and I think it's awesome!! Great networking tool. I'll go "like" you tonight!
That's not dorky at all. You're really doing something with your cooking and crafting. Who knows what openings that will create, and if a Facebook page helps get your name out there and allows people to communicate with you, then that's fabulous. Good for you!
