In The Closet, Part Deux

After a couple hours of hard, sweaty, and occasionally dusty work, this is what my closet looks like right now:

You may recall that I posted photos of the inside of my closet last week as part of this:

That's right, it was time to tackle the boogeymonster that lived in my house, and just happened to be in my closet. Oh, the mess! Oh the clutter! Oh, the clothes that didn't fit!

They're gone now. Gone are all the work pants that are a size or two too small for me now anyway. Gone are the dress jackets. Gone are the crappy tee shirts.

Gone are the little dog clothes. Gone are the shoes I never wear.

Gone are the knockoff handbags that I never carry. Gone are the various little purses for going out to bars with friends, since I never hang out in bars anymore anyway.

Gone are the extra bags and travel accessories that I don't use. Gone are the sorority knick knacks that I held on to due to guilt and obligation.

Gone are all the random bits of paper and trash that seemed to sneak in there somehow. I mean, look at all that floor space!

This is the crap I'm getting out of my house. Well, not the table/plant/elephant, but the rest of it is GONE. I'm going to take some of the stuff to the Buffalo Exchange and see if they want it, but if they don't it's straight to the Goodwill.

I'm feeling really dang proud of myself right about now. Thanks Vanessa, for giving me the nudge to get this done.
