A Simple Bunting
First, I punched a bunch of two inch circles from random patterned papers out of my scrap pile. I just went through and if I saw one that fit my mood, I punched a circle from it.
Put some adhesive along the inside of the fold, and a little bit more just above it. I'm not sure if you can really see it in this photo, and I'm sure it being sideways doesn't help. Thanks, Blogger!
Next, take a piece of cotton string and tie a loop in the end. Fold the circle over the string. Repeat for all the other circles. How much space you leave in between is up to you. There were several inches between circles on the bunting at the wedding, but I only left half an inch. Once your bunting is as long as you'd like, cut the string from the skein and tie another loop at that end. Now it's ready for hanging!
I got sort of carried away with punching circles, so I had enough for two. I hung them outside on my front patio to celebrate the first day of summer.

Totally cute, Mrs. Fehling. :) These are so simple, sweet, happy, and lovely. Thank you for sharing the how to. I think I might like to make some, too. :) It'd be fun to do in Halloween colors, Valentines's Day, etc. Happy Summer Solstice!
That's so fun! Looks adorable.
Sweet! I will be sure to try this one!! Thanks!
