Hippie Chow
Healthy Granola Bars
Ingredients:
2 cups quick cook oats (I used regular rolled oats)
1/2 C brown sugar
1/4 cup ground flax seed meal
1/4 cup wheat germ
1 tsp cinnamon
1 C whole wheat flour
1/2 C chocolate chips
1/2 C chopped nuts (Wendy used peanuts, I used pecans)
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 C honey
1 beaten egg
1/2 C vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 pan. (I just sprayed it with Pam because honestly? I'm lazy). Place oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, flax meal, cinnamon, flour, chocolate chips, and salt in a large bowl.
Mix well, making sure there are no big clumps of brown sugar left behind.

those look pretty good. my kids love the chewy granola bars. i might have to try these.
Those look good. I like those Fiber One bars too, but I don't buy them anymore because they are so darn expensive. LOL
