Bubba Photos

Bubba has discovered that he's not the only small person in our home.

We were playing on the floor when Gidget came by hoping to get in on the squeaky toy action. He kept looking at her and reaching out for her, but she's a smart cookie and steered clear. Last night he was on the bed with me and Leila was sleeping on my husband's pillow (it's their arrangement, she's not allowed on mine) when all of a sudden her head jerked up and looked at me in distress. The baby had reached over and grabbed a handful of her fur near her rear end! As soon as I got his fingers loosened from her hair, she high tailed it out of there. Poor dog!

We went to baby storytime at the public library with my mom's group last Friday. It was pretty cool. They had music, puppets, noisemakers, a parachute, and free play with baby toys. One of the things they had were these huge plush blocks. He really seemed to like it, so this weekend we picked up this toy at Babies R Us. I had a coupon for 15% off. It has different shaped plush toys inside and the top opens like a box. I think he likes it, but his hands are still too small to hold the toys inside. I just need to be sure to keep them away from Gidget!

Little man got some presents in the mail last week, so I needed to make a thank you card. We headed outside to take some photos. First, I did a few of him wearing the shades his daddy bought him. They're just a teensy bit too big now, but he can wear them okay. He's really good about it and doesn't try to pull them off either.

This is the photo we used for the thank you card. He got the hat, the blue sunglasses, and a cute little romper from his aunt and uncle up in Washington. The outfit is still too big, but the sunglasses are perfect right now. The hat... well, I made it work! HA! My husband said he looks like he's ready to be the cutest retiree at Del Boca Vista. I just typed "thank you" on the bottom right side, printed it on the bottom half of some cardstock, folded, and trimmed. Voila! An easy, custom thank you for the recipient.

He's reppin' his dad's team, even though it is baseball season. Hey, the outfit fits NOW, and I wanted to get a few more wears from it because it's cute! We haven't really found anything for the Mariners down here anyway.
My husband is looking at old (like, from 3 or 4 months ago, haha!) baby photos on the TV right now. He was SO TINY!!! It's crazy how much he's grown and changed in such a short amount of time.

He's sitting up SO well, he looks like such a big boy. I just love those round little cheeks of his, and chubby baby legs..CUTE! The shades are totally hip. Baby E would and still won't leave any on, sad. I'm jealous of the green, green grass and the ability to go outside and play.

He really is sitting up good! He's just adorable. Your poor puppy doesn't know what she's in for.
