Hack Job pt 2

So, my husband needed a haircut and decided to head on over to Supercuts yesterday. For the record, I HATE Supercuts. I have never gotten a good haircut there. I consider it the Walmart of salons. Nothing against anyone who works there in particular, but there is part of me that wonders just how good of a stylist you could be if that is the only job you could get, you know?

That being said - we were there. I was really really really having a hard time dealing with my hair. I'm "between" stylists right now, as the last one I was seeing didn't make me happy two times in a row. We're kinda poor due to still paying off hospital bills. Then there's the whole getting around to having a chance to even get a haircut at all. Oh, and did I mention how freaking SICK I was of my hair on my neck making it tickle and itch?

So I did it.

The stylist only left three small places where it was obviously longer than the rest, which I easily fixed at home. That means it's pretty even and therefore the best haircut I've ever gotten (I think this is the fourth one?) at Supercuts. I could have used it maybe an inch shorter, but I think this length works.

Hmm... I can tell I'm getting old in this picture. You like that random gray hair sticking straight up to the right of my head?
This is WAY better than last year's chop.

I love your hair...I too recently got my hair cut short...like above my shoulders when it used to be down the middle of my back...I got tired of having it in a bun all the time...btw I love your blog and your son is just the cutest baby ever...

OH! It looks great! :)
I know what you mean about those types of salons. They scare me a little too. I think it's because I've had my son's hair cut a places like that before and they have always gapped him. I try to avoid them at all costs! LOL
(Like I put up with my hair growing out for 4 months because I couldn't afford to go to my regular person. That's bad!)

You look great though - love the "new you"!
