It's only a day away.

Auntie Cheryl came to visit last night:

She held him while Bubba got his mu shu on. He's so sweet.

This photo I took this afternoon:

He was all snuggled up and warm next to me on the couch. Gotta love the Boppy.

This is pretty much all I have for today. If it wasn't for the whole "blog everyday in November" thing, I might have even skipped it. I got told to "suck it up" by someone who read my blog yesterday and as a result, spent a good portion of the evening crying and feeling sorry for myself - quite the opposite of sucking it up, I suppose.

Tomorrow is another day. This is now my mantra.

Whoever told you to suck it up needs to be sucker punched. Sometimes in life, that's totally true. But come on! You're dealing with hormones and a baby that's doing his fair share of crying, not to mention boob and bath issues. I think you're doing great! Don't listen to people like that. Trust yourself....

Aw :) He's so cute. You have done an AMAZING job blogging! Every day is a pretty big accomplishment. As for the person who is leaving your rude comments...well they aren't even worth you taking the time to worry about. Just ignore them if you can!

Suck it up?????? Are ya kidding me?How rude!
Sara, I know having a baby (especially the first one) can be completing overwhelming. It's been 27 years since my first but I remember it so well. Just don't be so hard on yourself. Don't worry about things like housework. Just take care of yourself. As time goes on you'll make all the necessary adjustments and things will fall into place. You'll see....

Someone actually said that to you?? OMgosh! They need a boot to the head (as my dh would say). Grrr. I'm sorry somone hurt your feelings like that Sara. That was a horrible thing to say.
You listen to these women above me because they are totally right.
The majority of us know exactly how you are feeling and what you meant because we've been there. Those "supermoms" who can do it all, and have it all together, ALL of the time are either very rare or just don't exist at all. But there are "good" moms (and it's okay to be one) and you are one of us. :)
Hope today is better.
