Baby's First Bath v2.0
After I posted yesterday about being a total dummy and disgrace to my "Scrapbooker" title, Susan emailed me and said she'd come over so that I could give him a bath myself and we'd get pictures this time. Isn't she awesome? So technically, this is Sawyer's mama's first bath. Well, not MY first bath, but my first time bathing a baby. Any baby. Most importantly, my baby.
The little man was not sure at first about doing this bath thing again.
Then he remembered: oh yeah, I didn't like this!

glad to have been a part of that - glad V2.0 ended with the same results...a sleeping, happy baby!
hope you got some sleep as well :)
PEACE!
I love the play by play! That second one he's like "WHAT are you doing to me MOM!" and by the end..."hey...not so bad!" ;)
He's so tiny and precious! :) I just love the expressions your baby makes. I miss mine being so little and cuddly. Enjoy it while it lasts - it goes fast.
What a great friend you have! Those pictures and the taglines are so cute and funny! I love his little belly. It is so round! Such a cutie!
Ahw! So cute. That last picture of the two of you is darling. Glad you enjoyed today. That's awesome!
So sweet. Happy for you that Susan is such a good friend. :)
That is seriously adorable! Glad you got pictures this time.
Great pics!
I could have helped you with this. I may not have any babies, but God knows that I have given my friends' babies their share of baths. ;)
He is SWEET. It looks as if he is truly starting to "fill out."
Enjoy!
Love these!
How awesome are all of these "experiences"???
:) he's a little muffin and i want to smooch his little face off!
p.s. his expressions crack me up!
That is a sweet face!! I used to love giving my kids baths when they were this little....because they would fall asleep right after ;)
What do you say when "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!" isn't enough? So sweet, his little face peeking out from his hooded towel, adorable. Sniffing fresh baby head is the best. :) Don't ya just LOVE baby wash and lotions? Many times I've considered using the lavender scented products myself.
omg, that last pic is sooooo cute. what a little doll-face.
i can't believe how long your hair is. it looks great.
great pics! oh and I thought I'd mention but be extra careful using all those great smelling baby products. I used to love the pink Johnson's products, until my daughter became dry at 3 months and 'itchy'. She has excema that I now have to keep under control and the scented products really mess her up (she's 4 now). The best baby/kid lotion but it doesn't smell like anything is the plain Vaseline Intensive Care non-scented. I use it on both my daughter and my son. Now my son doesn't seem to have the same 'itch' factor as my daughter, but then again I save using the 'baby lotion' products for special occassions like when Grandma is around, church, etc. Either way, just pay close attention and if you notice dry patches (you'll feel them) then just switch over to non-scented until it goes away.
