Pink Glitter Roses
Aren't they pretty?
On my last visit to the cake decorating supply store I came across this superfine edible glitter, and I had to get some. A little goes a long way, and it makes everything so much prettier, I think. These are chocolate buttermilk cupcakes (made with Scharffen Berger powdered cocoa and Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate) with vanilla almond buttercream. I did use the Wilton Crisco decorating icing to make the roses though, because it holds it's shape so much better when piped. I figure, you can pull them off if you want to get to the "good" icing underneath.
Pink AND glitter AND cupcakes... three of my favorite things!

Seriously girlie. I love it. The glitter is awesome, but so is the design. You're good. The flavor combo sounds fabulous. Cute, cute, cute!
