Scraplifter at Large
You know, I am starting to think that looking at the gallery on 2ps is really hindering my creativity. I keep running across layouts that I really like, and thinking, oh, I have a picture that would SO go with that! So I end up copying - er - scraplifting! - the layout instead of doing my own thing. Here are today's two efforts:
I lifted this from Kristin Hohenadel. You can see the original here. Photo is from when my friend and I were pretending to be drag queens. There were many bad/strange/downright scary pictures taken that night (and we were SOBER!) but I really like this one.
The first of hopefully many New York pages to come. It's me, eating a nasty ass pretzel! Yay!

I finally got a call from the HR woman to schedule my bilingual proficiency/whatever you call it test. It's next Tuesday at nine am, so cross your fingers for me that I can remember how to speak Spanish that day. I'm so out of practice it's not even funny.

Love both of those layouts!! I say, Scraplift away!!!
Those layouts rock! I have decided that when I see a layout that's well-balanced and designed like I like it, hello, I'm lifting it. I do not submit work, so just say I'm inspired. Cuz they DO. I think your muse told your subconscious to do this while she was on vacation, so go for it! teehee
