Baby, I'm back!

Actually, I've been back, just settling into my routine. I can't post any NYC pics, as they are all on my husband's laptop, which he has at work, so I'll just chat. Actually, posting pictures on blogger is such a pain, I may just link the Snapfish album on my mySpace page, so if you wanna see them, you can click on the Myspace Girl pic to the left.

I had such a good time. I didn't get to see everything I wanted to see, due to the time constraints/Sunday/Holiday, but we did PLENTY. I can't wait to have a chance to go back again one day! I spent the whole time freaking out about how cold it was going to be, but honestly, the temperatures weren't that different from what we were having here in Arizona. I carried my coat around as much as I wore it, I never even put on a scarf or my earmuffs, and my gloves stayed in my purse the whole time.

New York is beautiful and grimy all at the same time. It's definitely a very different vibe than anywhere else I've ever been. I'm not a seasoned traveler by any means, but I've been about. Let's see, where has Miss M been?

Hawaii (Oahu)
California (L.A., San Diego, Anaheim)
Oregon (Portland, Albany)
Washington (Seattle)
Utah (Salt Lake City, Provo)
New Mexico (Albuquerque, drove across)
Texas (Amarillo, haha, does that count?)
Oklahoma (Oklahoma City, Yukon)
Minnesota (Minneapolis, St. Paul)
New York (NYC!)
Puerto Penasco, Mexico

So, once again Miss M is trying to get her life in some semblance of order.

As I alluded to in a previous post, I am now completely unemployed. The owner of the store hired a full time manager, and since it's just a small store, she can't afford to pay two people to work at once. So, since my schedule completely overlapped with the new manager, I had to go. I still may teach classes, and I will still be doing the website stuff, but for now... I'm hanging out at home.

Please, please please pray for me that the school district calls me to offer me that job! They said after winter break, and that is over January 8th. I miss being able to shop, and you know... pay bills and buy food and gas. All that fun stuff. (no, not going hungry, I'm exaggerating)

I started eating healthy, starting yesterday. I'm freaking hungry, but so far, so good.

Other than my usual general inertia, I think so far so good. Baby steps, right? :)

Hey, what about Vegas? It was only for a little bit, but you did get to cruise the Strip during Spring Break!!
