This weekend we actually did stuff, and I have things to blog about! First off, we had to bust out the baby gates because little man is getting a lot faster with this crawling business.
(My husband was doing laundry. I swear we don't always have laundry on the dining room table. It's gone now as I type!)Bubba's new favorite thing is to play in the dog's water dish. He will slap his palm against the water in the bowl for a bit, and then he'll grab the whole thing and dump it over. Since we have a Le Bistro, this results in a pretty big mess.
Earlier today we all piled into the car and headed out to the library.
Don't they look cute in plaid? Tee hee!I have a list of books I want to read on my phone, so it only took me about five minutes to pick out a couple of things to read. My husband, however, is a bit of a wanderer, so he took a bit longer to make his selections.
So, while dad got his nerd on, we headed upstairs to the children's section. They have this wall in the back with interactive baby games. Bubba had a good old time with the mirrors especially.
On Saturday morning (yeah, the pictures uploaded backwards so here we are) I got up bright and early to deliver a cake for a baby shower. Here, I give you my second ever fondant figurine:

Looks like a fun weekend. That's really cool that you guys went to the library together. (Totally jealous!) Your cake is gorgeous. I can't even begin to imagine how you made that monkey. It's awesome! The rest of the came is beautiful, too. How many layers? What are the flavors? Great job!
